Sign the pledge below to say you’ll only to go to venues that have a zero tolerance policy on sexual harassment, and pay their workers properly.

A new survey shows 89% of young women working in hospitality have been sexually harassed at work. And over 55% of hospo workers in Canberra have their wages stolen in some way.

This has got to stop.

Sexual harassment and wage theft in hospo is out of control

I've worked for years in the hospo sector dealing with sexual harassment. It's time for us to stand up and say "no more!"

I'm adding my name to the pledge so that pub owners understand they need to take action against creeps and pay people properly!

Sign the pledge to have zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

Authorised A White for UnionsACT, 11 London Circuit, Canberra ACT 2601.

Every day workers (especially women) face sexual harassment from customers, managers and co-workers, as well as being bullied, groped and threatened. More than half of Canberra hospo workers report having their wages stolen.

It’s got to stop.

That’s why workers and unions in Canberra hospo including clubs, pubs, cafes and restaurants, are organising together to ensure venues safe for everyone, fair wages are paid, and Respect is the Rule.

This campaign is run by the UnionsACT Women's Committee and the United Workers Union.
